Why Quitting Smoking Is Different For Young People

Hi Future Non Smokers

What is special about young people, well plenty if you ask them. So why is it different for young people to quit smoking than someone older?

The longer someone smokes the more ingrained are their behaviors. If someone has smoked for 30 years they have probably smoked to relieve stress thousands of times. But someone who is nineteen and has smoked for four or five years has made that connection far fewer times.

But someone who is nineteen and has smoked for four or five years has made that connection far fewer times. For young people to learn how to quit smoking they must understand the differences between them selves and a long term smoker.

This applies to all the connections, including alcohol, on the phone, while driving etc. So you would assume that it is easier for a young person to quit than an older smoker who has smoked for much longer.

But,here’s the thing, if you are young you may not realise this, or you may deny it. I admire the enthusiasm and the self confidence of the young, but the self belief can translate to self delusion.

Most older clients will admit that in their younger years they didn’t worry about smoking because they believed that they could quit when they wanted to. Yet decades later they were still struggling.

Younger people typically think they are in control and they will quit whenever they like. The joke is on them. The other thing about young people is that they think they are bullet proof. It’s a combination of their self belief and their increased risk taking due to lack of mature frontal lobes.

This is a part of the brain that doesn’t fully mature until about age 25 The best way to get young people to quit smoking it’s to appeal to something that makes sense to them. Smoking makes you ugly is a campaign which worked well in the UK. It hit right at the heart of the fears of young women.

Smoking damages the skin by shortening the life span of an average cell. Plus smoking injects thousands of chemicals into each and every cell. Smoking can make you impotent. This obviously hits hard at young men.

Their ego’s can and will be influenced by the risk of failing to perform because of smoking. This happens because of compromised circulation and toxic chemicals affecting the hormone systems.

For younger smokers perhaps of school age some direct leverage can be applied. A recent example was the parents threatened to remove the access to a young man’s motor bike unless he quit.

He wanted to but felt that he would be estranged from his friends. Fortunately being estranged from his motor bike was even more powerful. for him this was the most powerful way to quit smoking.

How To Quit Smoking – By Using Past Successes To Help You

July 2, 2012 by
Filed under how to quit smoking

Hi Future Non Smokers

Quitting smoking may seem daunting, especially if a person has had tried and failed in the past.

If for example a person has failed six times then when they try again they bring the combined stress of failure from those past six experiences to this new attempt to quit. It’s no wonder that they find it difficult.

For many people they have literally failed before they even get started. So instead of using the power of past failures we can use the power of past experience. The best way to do this is in hypnosis or at least a very relaxed way.

You can consciously think back to times in your life when you have experienced success. It could be big things or small things. Earning a degree or winning a ribbon in a running race at school are a couple of examples.

Let your mind winder and ask the question to yourself, when was the first time you can recall a successful memory. Don’t rush this process. Let yourself revisit and enjoy the feeling of each success.

Notice your posture, your breathing your voice etc. Notice how the successful you, moves and communicates. As you connect with the success in your life, just notice where in your body you feel it. e.g. is there a warm feeling in your chest as you recall those pleasant memories.

Once you identify the place where you feel success, you can then access this place and those feelings any time you want. The next thing to do is think amount quitting smoking, and to also connect with this warm feeling in your chest.

The idea is to bring up the feelings of success as you think about quitting. Now you start to connect success with quitting. Soon your fears of failure will fade away leaving you with a strong feeling that quitting will be easy for you.

In fact the more you are in contact with this warm place the easier you know it will be to quit smoking for life. This important shift may be a defining moment in your life. In fact as you quit smoking you will feel confident that you can use this same method to create change in your life.

The added success you now feel will be a powerful springboard to other changes such as weight loss or pain control. In fact anything that you want to change, you have the power.

How to Quit Smoking – Is Money Holding You Back?

June 28, 2012 by
Filed under how to quit smoking

Hi Future Non Smokers

Smoking is expensive in Australia the average smoker spends $100 a week or more that’s $5000 a year and a fortune over a lifetime. Yet money is not a good enough reason for quitting according to most smokers.

Most people will find the cash for smokes, even if they are struggling. While money spent on smokes isn’t a reason for quitting, often money is a reason to not quit.

You can quit for free, but few manage it, many methods cost between $300 and $500. This money would be recouped in a few weeks.

But many many times smokers delay and delay, finding reasons not to quit. The car needs new brakes, another bill has come in. Sure some things need to be attended to, but the savings are so immediate, so not having the cash is just another excuse.

I assume that you are reading this because you are a smokier. You may be thinking that I’m being hard, but having helped hundreds of people to quit I have heard it all time and time again.

The reality is that money is just an excuse. It’s a way to justify to yourself that on one hand you need to pay a bill but on the other you will save thousands by quitting.

I am not attacking you. Assuming that you do want to quit the problem lies within your subconscious mind.

This part of your mind is very powerful it can help you or it can hinder you. Anytime you are struggling with yourself it is because you have resistance in the form of beliefs or attitudes or decisions which are actively working against you.

So why does this happen, the subsciousness plays the role of protector. It acts in your best interests, but sometimes it gets it wrong. It’s like a computer with old data.

The solution is to reboot and re programme. This is most easily achieved with advanced hypnosis. Hypnosis is a safe gentle way to release all your old limiting beliefs and suggestions are made that will be in alignment with your new desires. e.g. to quit smoking.

This method has proven successful for smokers for over a hundred years. Hypnosis is nothing to be concerned about. The main rule is that hypnosis can not make you do anything that you don’t want to do. If you keep that one thing in mind then you have no concerns what so ever about using hypnosis to quit smoking.

How To Quit Smoking – When You Are Surrounded By Smokers

June 20, 2012 by
Filed under how to quit smoking

Within any group of smokers there will be one person who bites the bullet and quits first. Being surrounded by smokers can be quite a challenge. The decision to finally quit can be hard enough but having to return to your smoking friends can only make it a whole lot harder.

The act of quitting using hypnosis is no harder or easier if you are part of a group, but it’s important for your therapist to know about your friends so that they can include suggestions about being able to remain a no smoker even if you are surrounded by smokers and even if they were to blow smoke in your face.

You need to be aware that some of your friends will support you. They are most likely waiting to see how you go before following in your steps.

Other friends will make it tricky by giving you a hard time, teasing you with cigarettes, this will be annoying but just hold true to your determination to be a non smoker.

A small number of people in your life will actively try and sabotage you. They may see your success as their failure. They will want to try and bring you back to the group. Beware of these people, they do not have your interests in mind.

After quitting you will become all too aware that you are different. If you want to keep socialising you will have to be prepared to be in the smoking areas at bars etc.

Initially this may be tricky and you will need to ask for their support, if you choose to remain in the bar or restaurant.

This request of support will quickly sort out the true friends from just the smoking buddies. Often the only bond smokers have is cigarettes, and when that bond is broken they realise they don’t actually anything in common.

Once you have gotten over the initial period it may be important that you return to some of your old social habits. Drinks after work in the smoking area may just be a part of your life as a non smoker.

Being surrounded by smokers will certainly be a big test but once you pass you will be able to survive any test of your resolve.

Living with smokers is just as hard. If they smoke outside it won’t be too hard but if they are inside you will find that you become sensitive to the smoke. It will stink, it will be on your hair and clothes, you won’t be happy about the air of your home being filled with smoke.

You quit for your health, you don’t need passive smoking to keep your risks alive.

Coming to an agreement about indoor smoking will help greatly, but otherwise you may have to make a firm decision about your future residence.

How to Quit Smoking – Align Your Conscious and Unconscious Minds

June 16, 2012 by
Filed under how to quit smoking

In virtually every area of life we have a difference of opinion between our conscious and unconscious minds. If you want to know how to quit smoking then you have to discover how to get you unconscious mind to agree with your conscious desires.

How many times have you thought, I’m going to quit smoking, I’m going on a diet, I’m going to start exercising, I’m going to start saving etc etc

And how many times have you succeeded. Think about something in your life that you wanted to achieve and you just went out and did it. No fuss, no stress and if you came to an obstacle you just overcame it.

This happened because you didn’t have any subconscious resistance. But getting back to quitting smoking, you want to quit but your subconscious fires a volley of reasons at you as to why you need to keep smoking.

Such as you need to smoke to relax, to think, to drive, to enjoy coffee or alcohol etc.

Plus you have all the beliefs about smoking also locked away in your subconscious. Such as quitting is very hard, I will need to quit many times before I am successful, or quitting cigarettes is harder than quitting heroin, which is an old urban myth.

Many people use force of will to overcome their resistance. Your mind is like a iceberg, you try and fight with the power of the conscious mind, but the power has to come from the small part of your mind-iceberg which is visible above water.

But the huge chunk below the surface wins the fight.

Another way people try to change is through affirmations. Again you are trying to use the power of your conscious to over-ride the massive force of the unconscious. It has been said that affirmations without actions are just self delusions.

The only successful way to get your sub conscious mind on side is to use hypnosis. Because it is the only method which focuses directly on the unconscious mind. Hypnosis can dive right in and dig out all your negative beliefs and non usual connections.

Hypnosis is a safe, gentle and successful way to move forward in your life without the constraints of your old negative thinking. Hypnosis will rid you of your connections to cigarettes.

No more smoking when bored, or stressed, or driving or with tea or food. No more being a slave to nicotine. It’s time to set yourself free.

Quit Smoking Before You Are Coughing Up Blood

June 12, 2012 by
Filed under how to quit smoking

What is it about human nature that allows us to continue to engage in dangerous behaviours in spite of all the warnings. Why would someone continue to smoke for a whole year after starting to cough up blood. And the big question is how do we quit smoking before it’s too late.

There are only three reasons anyone continues to smoke.

1. They are stupid and think that all the health warnings and consequences won’t apply to them. This may sound harsh but there are people who think exactly this way. When pressed they laugh it off saying, you have to die from something.

2. Two they really like smoking and are convinced that they can stop whenever they like. Many younger smokers think this way. Older smokers report thinking the same way, until they realised they couldn’t quit as easily as they thought they could.

3. Fear of stopping. Fear is the key. Fear of being able to manage their lives without smoking. Fear of not knowing what to do without cigarettes. Fear of being able to handle stress or social situations. The question I ask every smoker is, what do you think non smokers do to manage their lives, their stress, boredom, social situations etc. The standard answer is, I have no idea.

Keys to stopping smoking.

1. Make a clear decision to quit and have faith in yourself that you can.

2. Consciously understand that non smokers do just fine without cigarettes. They are not walking around nervously looking for some drug to calm them. If a non smoker feels they need to do something with their hands at a social function, they don’t reach for a cigarette.

They pick up a glass, hold a plate of food or just feel a little awkward for a will, but whatever they do they manage. If a non smoker is stressed, again they don’t even consider lighting up a stick of combustible plants. They find another way, and they survive. The non smoker enjoys the taste of the food and coffee without adding the flavour of burnt tobacco to ruin it.

3. Take some time to think about what real benefits you get from smoking. Not imagined benefits but real tangible. Educate yourself if necessary. A simple google search will give you all the information you need. 4. Take specific remedial action.

While you can logically make decisions, using Advanced hypnosis you will have your subconscious connections to smoking completely removed. To quit smoking the fast easy way just leave your details in the box to the right or call 1300 203 422 in Australia.

Support For Quitting Smoking …Think Like A Diabetic

May 30, 2012 by
Filed under how to quit smoking

Hi future Non Smokers

Quitting smoking using cold turkey or nicotine replacement can create a series of symptoms. Headache, shaky hands , anger, loss of concentration. Most smokers think this is the effect of withdrawal from cigarettes, but they are wrong.

Nicotine withdrawal itself has very little in the way of physical symptoms. If you have ever missed a meal and become really hungry you will be familiar with the above symptoms. Nicotine artificially elevates your blood sugar, so that when you quit smoking, what you are really experiencing is the effects of hypoglycaemia or low blood sugar.

This is why people feel bad and why they eat too much. Ex smokers quickly become aware that if they eat, and especially if they eat sweet foods they will feel better and their symptoms will disappear, for a while at least.

Knowledge is power, once you realise that you are eating to manage your blood sugar and it has nothing to do with nicotine withdrawal, then you can take action. I say to clients that they need to think like a diabetic because if they don’t quit smoking they will become a diabetic anyway.

The solution is to ensure that your blood sugar is stable all day. If you think of a graph, as a smoker the graph has lots of highs and lows. At the lows you need to smoke, at the highs your insulin pulls down your blood sugar until you reach the lows when you need another cigarette.

Unless you properly manage this the lows on the graph are just replaced by sweet foods. The key is to eat breakfast; most smokers just have a cigarette and coffee to start the day. You must replace the smoke with some real food. Some oats or toast and egg for example.

You must eat lunch and dinner. In between you can’t let yourself become hungry, the best food is apples. The fructose of the apple blends with the fibre in the peel, and the result is a slow absorbance of the fructose.

This gives a nice flat energy graph. If you have an apple between meals and one late at night if you are hungry then you won’t feel the need to eat junk to keep you going. If you do heavy work add a few cashews or almonds.

The idea is to eat enough at any meal to prevent hunger and to keep topping up during the day. This will make quitting much easier. Using hypnosis will solve all of your habitual problems.

How To Quit Smoking…Identify the Crucial Cigarettes

Hi Future Non Smokers

How To Quit Smoking…Identify the Crucial Cigarettes

Some smokers have up to sixty smokes a day or more. But most of these are go unnoticed and not even enjoyed. Many are stubbed out after only a few puffs. But there are a few crucial cigarettes every day. To discover how to quit you need to identify these smokes and understand what they mean to you.

For example the first smoke of the day might be when you get out of bed and you have it with a coffee. The meaning could be that this smoke signifies waking up and getting set up for the day.

A coffee and smoke at 10 am may mean that you need a break or time to think and plan.

At the end of the day, a smoke on the patio with a beer or wine may signify that the day is done and it’s time to relax.

It’s almost as if tobacco has a magical quality. It can wake you up, help you think, help you to relax, not to mention solve boredom, make you a better river, show others you don’t care about societies rules and in the past made you look cool. Some young smokers still think this is the case.

It is these cigarettes, and others which you know are the stumbling blocks to you successfully quitting for life.

It is important to understand what these smokes mean to you. And to come to a realization that you can still achieve all you want without them.

No single drug can help you wake up, relax you and help you to think. It’s only the meaning you have given to these smokes that give them power over you.

If anytime you wanted to relax you took a moment away from work and played with a Yo Yo for five minutes, and you did this every day for a month. Soon you would claim that your Yo Yo causes you to relax.

If you look at non smokers they all have ways to energize, relax, think etc without cigarettes. It’s not the smokers that help you it’s the rituals you have created. To learn how to quit is to firstly understand consciously that the smokes don’t help with anything.

The next thing to do is to use advanced hypnosis shift any old thinking from your unconscious mind. Now your conscious mind and unconscious mind are on the same team. and you can be free from smoking.

How To quit Smoking And Alcohol At The Same Time

May 13, 2012 by
Filed under how to quit smoking

Hi Future Non Smokers

One of the common reasons that ex smokers start up again is alcohol, and usually lots of it. Alcohol reduces inhibition and alcohol causes stupidity. Often when people want to quit smoking they realise that they have to quit alcohol as well or they are bound to fail.

It doesn’t matter that every time you have a drink you need to smoke you. That connection can easily be broken with hypnosis. The real issue is one of trust.

It maybe that you don’t trust your frinds, not to offer you a cigarette when you have had too many drinks. But more importantly you don’t trust yourself.

This is the big issue. So when you quit, you may need to address the issue of whether you can drink without smoking. Most people manage just fine, but you know yourself well enough to know what you need to do.

Quitting smoking is a a challenge but the advantage is that it is an increasingly anti social activity. Drinking however remains as socially popular as ever. This means that to quit both is going to change the way to live your life.

Of course it is possible to not drink and smoke and enjoy social occasions. This is for you to decide.

To quit both smoking and alcohol, the process is similar and can even be done at the same time. providing you are not an alcoholic.

Firstly hypnosis can be used for alcoholism but only with the additional support of a programme such as alcoholic’s anonymous.

Back to quitting smoking and alcohol, the key is to clearly identify all of your triggers separately and jointly. Obviously and hopefully you don’t have a drink with your morning cigarette.

But after work you may have a strong connection between relaxing with a friend or partner and smoking with a drink. Clients report that this is a special time for them, a time to reconnect.

So how will you manage if you stop these habits? Will you still be able to enjoy your moments. The answer is yes. Because within the hypnosis session you can be guided to enjoy the special moments in your life without your drugs.

4000 toxic chemicals don’t make human connections. Slowly poisoning your liver isn’t any way to connect either. Human connection must be able to be made in a sober state in order for them to survive and thrive.

How To Quit Smoking…Understand Your Special Cigarettes

May 9, 2012 by
Filed under how to quit smoking

Hi Future Non Smokers

Every smoker has those special cigarettes. The ones they think about and plan for. They ones that take their entire attention, stop them thinking until they have them. If you want to know how to quit smoking the first thing is to identify these smokes.

Once you clearly know when these times are, such as first thing in the morning with coffee, at the end of the day with beer or a glass of wine, perhaps its exactly 10.15 for a work break, you can then begin to see the pattern of your smoking.

You will also realize that the other smokes of the day are just gap fillers, and for most smokers they could survive quite easily without these extra cigarettes.

Any smoker knows that in some circumstances they can easily double their smoking over drinks or at a party. They get in a certain mood and just keep on lighting up.

They also know that if they decide to cut down, that they can. But cutting back on smoking isn’t just a random act. Smokers only leave out those gap filling cigarettes, never the special ones. Sure it is beneficial to your health to cut back, any your loved ones will think you are on track to quitting entirely.

But in the scheme of quitting, cutting out the non important smokers, doesn’t have any relevance. It’s just a show of quitting. But the smoker knows they haven’t really achieved anything.

Many smokers unconsciously smoke, that is they light up without even thinking about it, and often only smoke a part of the cigarette. These acts are meaningless; it is the special cigarettes which have the real hold on them.

These smokes have strong mental and emotional connections. It is these bonds which have to be broken in order to become a non smoker for life.

Take a moment to understand your special cigarettes, such as what you really get out of relaxing on your patio with a smoke and a glass of wine, or where the real benefit comes from walking away from your computer for a few minutes. You will then begin to see that these special cigarettes are not so special it is the rituals built around them that are special.

Recognising this is your first step to becoming a non smoker for life. The next is to take action an seek out an hypnosis specialist. This is the only way to break those bonds.

How To Quit Smoking…When Nicotine Isn’t An Issue.

May 5, 2012 by
Filed under how to quit smoking

Hi Future Non Smokers

While quitting smoking nicotine withdrawal is the primary concern with the medical profession and government health departments. Most drug therapy is geared at solving the drug addiction. This probably accounts for the dismal success of nicotine replacement therapy.

This leaves smoker with a big problem, if nicotine isn’t the problem then what is? The problem is less than you might imagine as the majority of smokers already know that most cigarettes they have during the day have nothing at all to do with nicotine.

One smoker reported that on one hand he thinks that he is are but then he realises that they can go for hours without a smoke if they have to. He will often not smoke around his children for many hours at family functions.

On returning home he heads out to the shed for a smoke because he must need one. He knows that he is not nicotine addicted but simply has a very strong habit.

His experience is typical; he admits that if he had the opportunity he would smoke at any opportunity. This is the case for many smokers; the connections are a series of habits not an addiction.

The good news is it is much easier to break habits no matter how strong they are, than to break a true chemical addiction.

Advanced hypnosis is the perfect way to break these habits. Their origins are locked away in the sub conscious. Hypnosis gently and safely accesses the roots of these habits, and replaces these connections with new links.

New connections are made to being a non smoker. Such as having coffee or tea or alcohol and enjoying them even more without smoking.

Driving and making phone calls without smoking, being able to think even more clearly and work better without smoking.

In fact any activity whether it be working playing, partying, studying, relaxed, calm or stressed all of these activities and states are much better without smoking. All of these connections can be easily established during hypnosis.

Once a smoker understands this it takes a lot of pressure off them. They can feel that inspite of everything they have heard about quitting that they can finally do it.

They also realise that their past failed attempts were mostly just the strong connections to smoking in their sub conscious and the almost universal belief amongst smokers that it is very difficult. In the words of Henry Ford. If you think you can or you think you can’t either way you are right.

3 Steps To Quitting If You Have Had Past Drug Addictions.

May 1, 2012 by

Hi Future Non Smokers

Many people who are addicted to drugs like heroin, cocaine or alcohol are smokers as well. The patterns of addiction run deep. As each addiction is solved a greater need is taken up by the next addiction in line.

Usually smoking is the last addiction in the queue. The problem now is that cigarettes have been given the task of managing all of the problems that the drugs have been believed to solve.

The key for a previously addicted person to quit the smokes is to come to terms with exactly what the nicotine is managing in their lives and to employ a range of tactics to firstly to prepare for quitting.

1. Congratulate yourself for quitting the other drugs. You have done a fantastic job.
2. Support your body in advance, exercise diet and multi supplements. You don’t have to take radical steps just work your way towards an overall better state of health.
3. Take time to learn to relax and meditate.

These three steps are specifically designed to support and prepare your nervous system for the change ahead, which importantly is going to render you addiction free possibly for the first time in many years.

Once your wellbeing is improved, and this should only take a few weeks the next thing to do is to book an appointment for some hypnosis. By advising your therapist of your exact history you will be able to free yourself of the last chains of addiction.

By breaking all of those old connections and triggers some of which you have been clinging to for years you will be free. But you must avoid falling into a trap.

This trap is trying to fill the void in your life, which drugs used to fill, with some other bad behaviour. The trick is to firstly recognise this void and embrace it. Next some of the void must be filled with healthy behaviours.

This way you will stay drug free. Plus you will become dramatically more healthy. To an extent that you may never have believed possible.

Many smokers trying to quit who have had other addictions are very nervous about quitting cigarettes. So don’t rush in, a few weeks won’t make any difference. Take your time do the three steps prepare yourself physically mentally and emotionally.

Use you past drug withdrawal success as a springboard. You have done it before and you will do it again.

Quitting Smoking…Why Non Smoking Logic Doesn’t Help Smokers Quit

April 23, 2012 by
Filed under how to quit smoking

Hi Future Non Smokers

In Australia we have regular ads on Television, showing the graphic results of smoking, Cancer, grieving families etc. Our cigarette packets have gory images of cancerous mouths etc taking up most of the packet space. The smokers I see tell me they completely ignore these images and for some it just makes them want to smoke. It seems that most government bodies are using non smoking logic to try and change smokers. But it doesn’t work.

These advertising methods do have some impact on non smokers who may be more likely to not take up smoking as a result of seeing these ads. But it works for them because non smoking logic is being applied.

A non smoker couldn’t image smoking while eating or enjoying a coffee etc, it would seem crazy to spoil the taste with a burnt flavour. So typically smokers are encouraged to stop so that their food and drink will taste better. They don’t care! They like to smoke and eat and drink so there is no leverage to be gained.

Smokers are warned of the dire consequences of attracting smoking related illnesses. In societies where heart disease and obesity are rampant, where the bulk of the population is eating themselves to death.

The young smokers look around and see their friend’s binge drinking, and wonder what the fuss is about smoking.

Conventional non smoking thinking just doesn’t make any sense to smokers simply because most of the problems non smokers see just don’t matter to smokers unless they are ready to quit.

Once a smoker has made the firm decision to quit then some of this non smoking logic can be applied to gain some leverage.

The problem is that all of the arguments are targeted at the conscious mind. It’s the unconscious mind that supports the smoking rationalisations. Of course a good steak or a glass of wine is spoiled by smoking, but it’s your subconscious mind that will find the reasons to do it and actually believe it tastes OK

Advanced hypnosis gets around all of this, all it requires is a strong desire to quit and a willingness to fully participate in the hypnotic process. The rest is taken care of, it’s that simple.

So stop trying to force yourself to quit, your subconscious will only undermine you, leaving you feeling that it can’t be done. Don’t believe it, you can and will quit if you seek the right help.

How to Quit Smoking… Even If You Are In A Group

April 18, 2012 by
Filed under how to quit smoking

Hi Future Non Smokers

Group quit smoking is not an ideal way to quit cigarettes, because its important for all the triggers to be removed and all the persons beliefs about smoking to be addressed. However there may be a way you can do it.

In one to one hypnosis it is easy to watch the client, noticing any change in facial expressions, breathing, comfort levels etc, but in a group it is very easy for problems to go unnoticed by the practitioner.

In order for a group session to be successful the practitioner must broaden their scope in order to address the group. One person may smoke first thing in the morning but another wont smoke until morning tea, while another only smoker of an evening.

All possibilities must be addressed in order to ensure everyone’s needs are being catered for. This means the group session can take considerably longer than a single session.

The other responsibility is for the client in the group to participate fully. This means taking on board everything that is being said that applies to them and ignoring the rest. If they start to debate what the practitioner is saying they will lose the plot.

It is even more important for the client to fill in the gaps. That is to think about those triggers which haven’t been mentioned by the hypnotherapist and are of note to them. It is not the client’s job to decide which beliefs are important and which aren’t.

You don’t know what your subconscious considers to be the key to you quitting. In a group setting you need to remain focused, because there will always be people who ask annoying questions, or who may not be as committed to quitting as you are.

Keep yourself on target, resist any temptation to to buy into other peoples issues. You are there to quit and that is all that is important.

I would recommend if possible to sit in the front row and pretend that it is only you and therapist. Imagine that this is all your session and you are receiving the full attention of the therapist.

Why not make it all your session. You are paying for it and there are always people who want to sit in the back row.

Hypnotherapy is a very powerful way to change, but it does require you full permission and willingness for the change to occur. Don’t hold back.

How To Quit Smoking…When You Have Failed Before

Hi Future Non Smokers

Few people who attempt to quit smoking haven’t already tried before. Most have tried several times using nicotine replacement, Champix, Zyban and other methods. Don’t give up, it can be done you just need the right way to do it and the right support.

The problem with attempting and failing in anything in life is that we start to lose faith in ourselves. If we have repeated unsuccessful attempts then our failure becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

Successive failures in any area including smoking or weight loss only create more and more supportive files in your subconscious as to why you will always struggle. Even hearing of others failures will further cement these wrong beliefs.

Government departments, pharmaceutical companies and medical practitioners re-enforce these beliefs by reminding smokers that it can take up to 7 attempts to finally quit. The best thing you can do completely ignore all of these negative sources and start to form a belief within yourself that you can quit.

So the question is how to get past your past failures and succeed at last. Many people try the same ways to quit smoking over and over again. It’s the definition of insanity. Using advanced hypnosis is a perfect solution to smoking, because it can address all your past failures.

These failures are like roadblocks, but advanced hypnosis will bi-pass these blocks and dismiss all your old fears and concerns. It will get to the heart of the problem and guide you to becoming an ex smoker faster than you could possibly imagine.

Because most of the problems that keep people smoking have nothing to do with nicotine dependence. By properly approaching the sub conscious mind it is surprisingly easy to break all your attachments to smoking.

We you quit without breaking all your emotional connections to smoking you are bound to start again. This is not a failure on your part. This simply means your quitting process was incomplete.

Up to 95% of your attachment to smoking is emotionally based and formed habits, not nicotine. So in order to quit you have to address these issues. If you don’t you will struggle, suffer and in time return to smoking.

Most people who quit using hypnotherapy are stunned at how easy it was and some become angry at all the false stories they were fed about how hard it would be. Just believe in yourself, take action and don’t give up.
